About me

Courtney serves as a softball instructor at Pro X, specializing in both catching and hitting. Shes is an outgoing person and believes that being accountable and believing there is always room for improvement is the key to being successful both on and off the field.

Her goal is to enhance each athlete’s ability and knowledge of the game, while also working with their specific abilities and figure out the best way to improve their game individually.  Courtney throws front toss, as well as numerous drills for catchers that mimic a pitcher for blocking as well as plays at the plate from outfielders.

“Hi ya’ll! My name is Courtney Shea Smith, and I played at Auburn University from 2015-2018, where we competed in the post season every year as well as making the trip to the WCWS two years in a row; placing third in 2015 and runner up in 2016. All four years at Auburn I made the SEC Academic Honor Roll, by taking on the attitude, “Greatness is a way of life,” that was imparted onto me and all of my teammates, ensuring that we would leave Auburn as better people.”
